Over the past several moths I have had difficulty with my makeup staying in place all day. By the end of the day it would look worn and lifeless, and as I am usually on the go from work to school, and then night out with friends it was becoming a problem.
Im not the type of girl who likes to carry a lot in her bag, and I actually really hate caring a makeup case. Theyre big and chunky and the idea of piling on more products throughout the day doesn’t appeal to me at all. This is when I started looking into different setting sprays. There are various brands but the most popular I’ve heard of are model in a bottle and Skindinavia. After some research I decided to give the Skindinavia one a try.
I started off with the urban decay de slick version, Skindinavia does produce this product for Urban Decay but unfortunately this formula didn’t work for me. I remember hearing great things about the Bridal Finish. I figured brides are the notoriously known for wanting the perfect day and the perfect makeup so any product that was well acclaimed and formulated to them must be a good one. I also liked that it has a dewy finish because I like my makeup to look natural and fresh.
My intuition was right, I’ve been using this product for about two weeks now tested it under many different situation such as long days, and Vancouver’s unpredictable weather. I have been pleased so with the results, even my boyfriend noticed the difference. Another problem I had was with my makeup transferring, and that has completely stopped since using this product.
I am beyond pleased with the results, it took about 3 weeks for the product to arrive to me which is exactly how long the website said it would be there was a discount when I ordered I cant remember exact numbers but there was a percentage off and the order came with samples of the No Glow primer and original setting spray. I immediately placed the original setting spray into my travel makeup bag, this way I don’t have to bring the full size product with me when getting ready at friends houses, which I typically do.
I would highly suggest this product if you have difficulty with your makeup not lasting all day or looking as fresh as you want it to, also if you have trouble with it transferring. I will be repurchasing this product and couldn’t be happier with the results!
Have you ever used a setting spray, if so which one? Did you like it? Please let me know in the comments!
