My everyday makeup routine

Today I’m here to talk about my everyday makeup products! I know it might look like a lot, but like I’ve said before I’m always on the go so I like to have a good base that I can add more products to. These are my holy grail products that make me feel comfortable, confident, and can easily take me from day to night if needed.

I keep it quite simple for my eyes on a day to day basis. I use the Urban Decay Naked Basics pallet light shade naked 2 for the front of my brows and faint for the tail which gives it a much more natural look. For this I use my MAC angle brush and mascara spoolie to brush them out. I then set with Benefit gimme brow. On day where I want to use very minimal products I will only use the gimme brow. For shadow I use my long time favorite Stila Kitten that I apply with my finger. The shade Venus from the naked pallet works as a perfect inner corner highlight with my real techniques precision brush. And if I want a liner I will use the color faint with my flat top eye liner brush from MAC. I also use my MAC concealer in NW20 as a base for my eye shadow and to cover my horrible dark circles.  Nothing makes my lashes look as good as this combination, first coat is covergirl clump crusher and the second is covergirl flamed out.

To prime my makeup I use the skindinavia NO GLOW primer that I received as a sample with my setting spray and love it! I want to pick up the full size. This past year I have found my Holy Grail foundation, which is urban decay naked. Right now I’m the shade 1.5 and use my beauty blender to apply it. I use Clinique setting powder in shade 2.0 and also my beauty blender to apply that so it looks as natural as possible. I then use my MAC blush brush to apply my favorite blush in the shade pretty please also from mac. My favorite highlighter is from the Urban Decay face case in “anarchy” which I apply with a mac stippling brush for a natural application. I will either use my real techniques buffing brush or MAC kabuki brush to blend everything together. I then set everything with my skindinavia bridal finish spray to ensure that it lasts all day.

I keep it very minimal for my everyday lip products. I use the coco butter Vaseline before I start my makeup application so it has time to soak in and help with dry lips. My two favorite products to wear alone or together are the Revlon balm stain in and the NYX butter gloss in vanilla cream pie.

I hope you found this post interesting and found new products to include in your every day face routine. I would love to know what your go to products are so please let me know in the comments!

  1. You know when we’re doing it everyday, it’s like nothing…but it’s still crazy to look down on my vanity and realize how much products I used..
When you have it laid down like this, it seems like a lot lol

    1. Lol I know, I was thinking the exact same thing. But this is when I have a full day of something to do. When I have little no to time it’s just concealer, powder, blush, and mascara!

  2. Since I am not working every day I tend to let my self go with hair in a clip and no make-up. I really need to get back in the routine of at least putting on my face no matter what. I like the simplicity of your lip wear. I have very dry lips so I will be picking up and trying some of that coco butter Vaseline.
