Weekend Layers

Weekends are always the highlight of my week, as I’m sure it is for everyone else! Sundays are typically my only day when I don’t have to worry about school or classwork  and it’s such a treat to sleep in and get brunch with my girlfriends. This past weekend we went to Catch 112 in Gastown and it was ahhhhhh-mazing. They typically have a lineup on the weekends but believe me when I say it is well worth the wait. After brunch we ventured down to the Stanley Park Seawall to enjoy the foggy misty view. I love how mysterious Vancouver looks when it’s covered in fog.

Since it’s my day off I like to be comfy, and cozy while still looking cute. A variation of this outfit is always my go to; it’s basically my weekend uniform. I love lots of cozy layers, with comfy shoes because I never know how much running around I’m going to be doing that day and the last thing I want is to be uncomfortable.

I love the sporty chic look of pairing sneakers with leather leggings but I made it a bit more relaxed by pairing it with a chunky knit cardigan, blanket scarf, and my favorite thermal. My Longchamp tote is always my go to weekend bag, even though I only start the day with my little wallet, water bottle, and camera in it It’s almost always filled by the end of the day with clothes or goodies from shopping and running errands.
