Bellami ToneMi Shampoo Review

I’ve been blonde for years, and I’m always on the hunt for a great purple shampoo. I’ve used AG Silver and Kevin Murphy Blonde Angel and while I loved both I’ve always found that they don’t quite get all the brassiness out of my hair. I decided to give BellaMi Tone Mi shampoo a shot after hearing Samantha from Batalash rave about it. This is a complete “YouTube made me do it” purchase and I’m happy I made it.

I’ve tried this as a shampoo a few times and it worked pretty well but didn’t impress me much. I tried it as a toning treatment and totally fell in love. I tone my hair by dampening it a bit and then applying the shampoo as evenly as I can. I then take a wide tooth comb and brush it through to get it even more evenly distributed. After letting it soak in for half an hour to an hour I shower and wash it out. The results were crazy!

My hair had never been that silver or toned before just from using shampoo so I definitely call this a win. This shampoo is a much thicker consistency than I’m use to with purple shampoo and because of that I find i get more product than I need which can be wasteful. The price can seem a bit much for such a small amount of product ($14.00 for 4.0 fl oz) but it’s definitely worth it considering the quality and results. It’s also reasonable compared to other high quality purple shampoos.

Over all I highly recommend this product and if you’ve been thinking about trying It you should definitely go for it! Let me know in the comments if you’ve tried this before and what your favourite purple shampoos are!
