How to Save a Broken Blush, Eye Shadow, or Powder

I think we’ve all been in the situation where you’re getting ready for the day and all of a sudden you hear a bang on the ground only to look down and see your favorite blush or bronzer shattered. It’s a pretty tragic moment, and sadly I’ve been there more that once so instead of throwing a 20 dollar product in the trash I’ve learnt how to fix it! Its super easy and you just need a few simple things

What you’ll need:

Zip lock bag

100% pure alcohol

Spoon to mix with / apply pressure

Paper towel

The container that one housed the powder

Steps:

  1. Take the broken powder and place it into a plastic bag
  2. Brake up the product as much as you can until it’s a fine powder
  3. Mix in the alcohol until it forms a thick paste
  4. Place the paste into the container and flatten it out as evenly and as best you can
  5. Place the paper towel over the product and use the spoon and your fingers to press it down with as much pressure as you can apply to retract the alcohol
  6. Once you feel like you’ve gotten most of the alcohol out leave the product to dry for 24 hours
  7. You’re done! Enjoy your new favorite product again and take the money you would have spent re purchasing it on something fun and new for yourself
