BRAND REVIEW! [ A Complete eye look with L’Oréal Cosmetics]

IMG_6664

As a beauty lover I am always looking for new products to test out. One of my favourite places to shop for new makeup is the drugstore because the products can be so high quality as so affordable. When Influenster sent me a box full of L’Oréal goodies I was on cloud nine! I have loved Loreal products for years and I was so excited to try out some things I’ve never tried before… Spoiler alert, I loved it all lol

Last 2 colors in the Pallet. I think these may be my faves!

The eyeshadow pallet:

Ok this pallet is amazing. It’s like a combination of Naked 1 and Naked 3, with a great mix of warm and cool tones and the pigmentation is awesome. I honestly never buy drugstore eyeshadow pallets because that’s something I typically splurge on but from now on I’ll definitely be trying out the new pallets from Loreal

The eyebrow pencil:

This brow pencil is awesome! It’s another dupe for a high end product, it goes on just like the Anastasia brow wiz for a fraction of the price. The only thing I wish is that it was a tad cooler in tone, but It’s really not bad at all! I’m just such a freak about makeup I notice the slightest difference in color.

The super slim eye liner:

You guessed it, another great product! This eye liner goes on so smoothly and you can make a thin or a thick line depending on how hard you press down. I love that I can get a super thin line for my inner corner and then thicken it up with a bit of extra pressure for my wing.

The regular eye liner:

Unfortunately this was my least favourite product of the box but thats mainly because I’m not really a fan of khol eyeliners. My eyes are super watery and sensitive so  soft eye liners will typically smudge on me and end up making a mess. But I do think that this would make a great base for a super smokey eye paired with some of the cool tones from the eye shadow pallet!

The mascara:

I have used this mascara before and while I’ll admit it’s not my favourite drugstore mascara it’s still a great option! It’s super black which I loooove, and thickens and lengthens your lashes in just a few coats. I typically like my mascara after a few weeks once it’s dried out a bit so I think I will love this even more in a few weeks. The wand is thick and fluffly which and made of regular fibers unlike those plastic wands which really allows you to get to the root of the lash and create volume. My mom has used this mascara for years and loves it, so I know it’s a great product.

I hope you guys liked these mini reviews and I would love to hear what your favourite L’Oréal products are because I am definitely going to be picking up some more pieces from their line! Leave your suggestions and thoughts on these products in the comment section because I love interacting with you guys!

    1. Thank you! And I think the shimmer shadows are very comparable to high end shadows. Mattes are always a little harder and these are good but you have to work at blending them a bit more than the Urban Decays. But for the price they’re amazing and a total dupe for the Naked pallets
